Manitoba’s Future is Looking Bright | Nine Finalists Are Announced

Winnipeg, MB, November 26, 2018 – The Future Leaders of Manitoba (FLM) are proud to announce the finalists for the 2019 edition of these community awards. “We had so many impressive nominations again this year,” confirms FLM President Matt Erhard. “We feel the pride that Manitobans have in their communities and the champions who are making things happen in our province.”

This year’s finalists are:

Age 20-25 category

Within the group of finalists, there are outstanding community members including advocates for affordable housing, access to education, and opportunities for indigenous youth. “The momentum of our province is being driven by the ambitions of our young leaders and we are thrilled to give them another platform to share their stories and their passion.”

The awards reception highlights the contributions of nominees and recipients, but it also sparks conversations, connections and creativity. The event takes place on January 24, 2019 at the Fort Garry Hotel & Conference Centre, with Richard Cloutier from CJOB as emcee and Dave Angus, President of Johnston Group as Honourary Chair.
